Québec Autoroutes

Francheville Autoroute (A-755)

(numbered as another autoroute)

Francheville Autoroute was the downtown Trois-Rivières Expressway. After abandonning the project of a northern Trois-Rivières by-pass, A-40 was downloaded to Francheville Autoroute.

Francheville Autoroute begins as a 4-lanes freeway, then two lanes merge and the carriage elevates. In downtown 3-R, the expressway is a bit twisty. In Cap-de-la-Madeleine, the expressway loses two lanes and one kilometre further, the freeway returns to the ground.

Actually, Francheville Autoroute is all built since A-40 uses its carriage.
